We have all the detailed specifications for each kcal range: GCV, total moisture, total ash, total sulphur, HGI, volatile matter, etc. even we have mines that are able to show NCV on the paper (inspection made by the famous Singaporean Inspection Service)..however, if you want the serious deal, we do need your official LOI.

We do have access to verified mine owners but they only want to proceed after they see official LOI from potential clients. It’s normal because there are too many mafias in this business. After we receive your official LOI, we will look into our mine partners and tell them what you need. They will reply with all the papers to you since you are the buyer. Of course all the papers will be shown in real life meeting so you won’t get it online. We need to see you in person. That’s how real business works

Basically, here are the steps to buy Indonesian coal from our verified miners:

1. Send us your inquiry to indonesiancoalsuppliers@gmail.com
2. We will ask for your LOI (letter of interest) from your company so we can forward it to our miner (if you are a middle man and you are afraid about giving your buyer’s LOI, click here!)
3. The miner then will need a few days to reply whether they can supply your needs or not
4. We will then prepare all the papers and arrange a meeting to meet you in Jakarta, Indonesia to discuss about draft contract and price
5. If both parties agree, we will then proceed with signing contracts as well as followup from buyer’s representative and surveyor to check the mine in Kalimantan
6. We will proceed the deal as written in the contract

We can assure you that we are the only broker in this transaction so it would always look like this:

buyer -> us -> seller

Even better, we can do non-transferable LC so your money would go DIRECTLY to our miner (in case you are afraid we don’t have control over miner’s shipment and coal supply)

We basically have contracts with 4 mines, calories ranging from 5500-6500. We have NCV listed on our papers which make us look like bonafide sellers. You won’t find the same miners anywhere. We have been supplying high calorie coals to China and India as well as to local power plants. Remember, the terms must be FOB Kalimantan. No real miners would want to deal with CIF anymore nowadays. Of course we also only take cash and LC as our payment terms. We prefer LC to be honest because it gives more security for both parties.

Please do not ask “what do you have” or similar kind of questions because we are real coal suppliers. WE PROVIDE WHAT YOU NEED…If you are a foreign trader who are looking to resell our coal to end users, then please state in your LOI what calories range do you need.

What’s so hard nowadays when you are into coal business is to find the real miners. From ten so-called coal suppliers you run into, probably only 1-2 would really make a deal with you. Not to mention that 80% of these deals fail because they aren’t really miners. Most traders and end buyers don’t realize how complicated mafia business in Kalimantan is. Real miners could even sell their papers for some million of Indonesian rupiahs and they could be even partner with the mafias to fool buyers.

This is exactly the reason why nowadays most buyers are extremely cautious with Indonesian miners. However, it’s not always like that. There are also fake buyers so actually to get miners’ trust isn’t as easy as you might think. To build the bridge of trust between real miners and end buyers isn’t easy. It’s very hard..

What you need to know when you are trying to find legitimate supplier is their issue with papers. If they can easily provide you papers by email, it means they aren’t legitimate miners. Real miners get tempted by those fakers who can buy the copy of their papers for millions of rupiah each page.

Usually if the miners are real, they won’t share their papers to anyone but only to end buyers because they know the papers can be misused for something else (which eventually would damage their mine reputation).

However, bad people always have new tricks to fool miners. Sometimes they are just traders who tell their miners “hi, i have a buyer but he needs your papers first before we can meet him”…then the miner provides him with all of his papers. Instead of doing it right, the trader then copy and manipulate the name on the papers so the buyers would be fooled.

They run after they get some bit of money. This is why 90% of miners you find on the net are fake. They have the miner papers but they sell it for their own pocket.

This is where you can count on us. We DO have the miner papers because we are in contract with them. We have been dealing a lot of deal with them since years ago and at the moment we have 4 mines in contract with us. However, trust can be gained only when we meet in real life.

1. You give us the LOI complete with the company name of the buyer

2. If our miner can meet your specification, we will then reply that we can meet you in person and discuss contract draft and price

3. You schedule a meeting with us in Jakarta

4. If everyone agrees, we will check site on Kalimantan

If you are affiliated with the buyer but yourself isn’t part of the buyer’s company, most of the time it would be a fail deal considering most traders are “afraid” to provide any information of the buyer.

They believe, “when we give you the buyer info, you would skip us in this deal..” well tell you what, if you have such kind of thought then 100% you won’t get through with any deal. Let me tell you why.

If your buyer doesn’t give a damn about your commission and we are the bad guys in this business, then ANYTIME we can skip you. Let’s say you want us to provide the papers to you instead to the buyer..let’s say you want us to tell you first EVERYTHING we want to tell the buyer…do you think there’s no risk for you? Of course not.

By the end of the time, when the buyer comes to see the coal mine, we will make a contract with them and if nobody cares about your commission, you won’t even get a single cent. There’s no chance you can “force” the buyer to not meet the miner. The miners eventually would sign a contract to the buyer. Of course the LC will ONLY be cashed out by the miners and the coal supply will ONLY be transferred to the buyer’s hand. Where your position will be here? Lose lose solution.

The Plan…

But don’t worry, we are a legitimate supplier and we are looking for long run project only! Therefore, if you are an individual trader/broker, you can’t do a single thing but to trust. Since you are the one that have the buyer in your hand, it means you should sign a MoU with them so every time they send our miner the LC, you will get your own part/commission automatically. Our own company have been in contract with our miners, that’s why we don’t give a damn about passing all information about the buyers to them since we represent them directly. If you don’t trust your own buyer, better to not waste your time in this business…

Otherwise, you can come to Indonesia directly, meet us, and then represent our company to your buyers. After we cross-checked that your buyer is legit, you can trust that we will share our commissions with you. MoU will be signed for you of course. But remember…we can’t guarantee anything before the deal goes through so your only chance here is to trust us. We need to know your buyer’s demand and company name. If you can’t trust us and need to secure your own commission in the safest possibility, we suggest you to build your own trading company so you will be eligible to accept/provide LC

Just to remind you though, most buyers in the end would still only want to send non-transferable LC which means they don’t want to waste their time giving their LC to you or us but they only want the real miners to get it. As I said on the another web page, we don’t have any trouble with this policy since we TRUST our miners. They will pay our commissions although I can’t guarantee anything on that.

So what I want to say here basically is like this…if you want to make a deal with us and get a lot of money for yourself, what you need is to provide us your buyer’s LOI complete with their company name and coal demand. We will then cross-check if that company is legitimate or not. If we choose to go with the deal, we will then meet you in person and show that we have all the miner’s papers. After that, you will need to arrange a meeting with the buyer directly and of course at that meeting we will bring our own miner as well. When they sign a contract, you and us will sign a MoU with my miner (or if you trust your buyer more than my miner, then you can ask them if they are able to give you any commission)

Remember, we won’t be able to share any papers by email unless we have met you directly in person. We have this policy to avoid mining theft because it’s been a very common practice in Indonesia that you fake someone else’s mining papers to fool buyers. Since we are a legitimate and high-class supplier, we will only show and give you our papers when we meet in person.
